Blood spell was one of my favorites ever and I adored the opposite of you! In my 2023 book tag I named you as my favorite new author! Can't wait for your next book - however ong that takes! Big hug!
Sending you love and light. Remember the feminine, the artistic, the creative comes in phases. We are not meant to produce every day. We are not meant to have our worth be judged by output and results. You are in a period of rest and recovery… like leaving a field fallow for a season or two to protect the soil and the new growth. Celebrate your success. Accept where you are and maybe fall in love with the process again and not the product. what would you write if you knew you could not fail?
I can’t wait until your field of creativity is back in bloom 🥰
I hope that you come back to writing. I have truly enjoyed everything you have written, and can’t wait until there is more. I get it though, it’s hard when you are going through the struggles of life, and all that it entails. Just know you will always have a fan here waiting for your grand return.
Honestly six months is not bad. I totally get how the hustle of a 40 hour non creative job while balancing family sucks all your energy dry. It made me not write for 10 years. And I had ZERO success before I took a sabbatical because I was just starting out. Technically speaking since finding writing again last fall, I still have had only one success - actually doing it. The rest have been failures, both on self-imposed goals and from the dozen literary contests I was rejected from the past three months. What I'm understanding is writing = failure 97% of the time. But we keep doing it to heal our hearts and to hopefully get to that 3% of successes.
Thank you for sharing this heartfelt post. I want you to know the joy I feel when you release a new book or publish a chapter. I immediately clear my schedule and am so happy to get lost in the world your beautiful imagination created. I’m an avid reader and your talent is so very special. I look forward to seeing where your writing journey takes you.
